Clickade Creator Payout Manual
The Creator Payout system turns eligible Clickade creator earnings into real-world payouts.
This manual explains the difference between earned, held, available, frozen, and paid creator income.
For how creator revenue is generated in the first place, see the Creator Monetization Manual.
1. Creator Revenue Share
Clickade's standard creator revenue split is:
- 80% to the creator
- 20% to Clickade
Each Clickade Token is worth $0.10 USD.
Therefore, for every eligible Token spent on a creator's game:
- the creator earns $0.08;
- Clickade keeps $0.02.
Example:
| Player spends | Total value | Creator share | Clickade share |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Tokens | $1.00 | $0.80 | $0.20 |
| 15 Tokens | $1.50 | $1.20 | $0.30 |
| 20 Tokens | $2.00 | $1.60 | $0.40 |
| 30 Tokens | $3.00 | $2.40 | $0.60 |
2. Revenue States
Creator earnings may appear in different states.
Held
Held earnings have been recorded but are not yet available for payout.
The most common reason is that the game has not yet been verified.
Clickade may also hold earnings while reviewing:
- ownership;
- suspicious activity;
- charge or Token disputes;
- moderation issues;
- payout information.
Available
Available earnings have passed the necessary platform checks and may count toward a future payout.
Availability does not necessarily mean the funds have already been transferred.
Frozen
Frozen earnings are temporarily blocked from payout while Clickade investigates an issue.
A freeze may happen because of:
- a copyright or ownership dispute;
- suspected fraud;
- artificial Token spending;
- account compromise;
- moderation action;
- another issue that could affect payout eligibility.
Paid
Paid earnings have been processed through a supported payout method.
Historical payout records remain part of the creator's account history.
3. Verification Requirement
Monetized games may generate tracked creator earnings while they are unverified, but those earnings remain held.
Once Clickade verifies the game, eligible held earnings may become available according to Clickade's payout rules.
Verification normally takes less than a day but may take up to 48 hours.
For the full verification process, see the Game Verification Manual.
4. Revenue Is Tracked Per Game
Creator earnings should be traceable to the game and Token transaction that produced them.
Revenue may come from a 60-minute paid session or a one-time game purchase. Both use the same revenue-state system and remain linked to their underlying Token transaction.
This helps Clickade:
- audit payouts;
- reverse fraudulent or invalid transactions;
- handle ownership disputes;
- explain creator balances;
- separate legitimate income from held or frozen income.
A creator's total balance should not be treated as one unexplained number.
5. Payout Eligibility
To receive a payout, a creator may be required to:
- have an account in good standing;
- provide an approved payout method;
- provide information required by the payment provider or applicable law;
- meet any displayed minimum payout threshold;
- have enough available earnings;
- resolve outstanding verification or moderation issues.
Clickade should display the currently applicable payout requirements in the creator dashboard before a creator requests or expects a payout.
6. Payout Schedule and Minimum
Clickade's exact payout schedule, minimum payout amount, supported payout methods, and provider fees should be published before creator withdrawals are enabled.
Until those values are officially configured, they should not be implied or guessed.
When enabled, the creator dashboard should clearly show:
- available balance;
- held balance;
- frozen balance;
- next eligible payout date or payout status;
- minimum payout requirement;
- supported payout method;
- any applicable processing fees.
7. Suspended or Removed Games
If a game's verification or monetization eligibility is suspended:
- new creator revenue from that game may stop immediately;
- pending earnings may be frozen;
- historical records remain intact;
- Clickade may review whether previously held or available revenue remains eligible.
Removing a game does not erase its transaction history.
8. Fraud and Artificial Spending
Creators may not artificially generate revenue by manipulating Token spending.
Examples include:
- using controlled accounts to repeatedly buy sessions solely to inflate earnings;
- reimbursing players outside Clickade to create fake activity;
- exploiting bugs to duplicate purchases;
- coordinating fraudulent payment activity.
Clickade may freeze earnings, reverse invalid revenue, suspend monetization, or take account action when artificial activity is detected.
9. Refunds and Reversals
If the underlying Token transaction is legitimately refunded or reversed, the associated creator revenue may also be reversed.
This may affect held, available, or future payout balances depending on when the reversal occurs.
Clickade should preserve an audit trail rather than silently deleting the original transaction.
10. Creator Taxes and Legal Responsibilities
Creators are responsible for complying with tax, reporting, and other legal obligations that apply to them.
Clickade or its payment provider may request information necessary to process lawful payouts.
Specific tax requirements depend on location and circumstances, so Clickade should not present generic tax information as personalized legal or tax advice.
11. Quick Summary
A monetized game can generate creator income from 60-minute sessions or one-time purchases at an 80/20 split.
Unverified-game earnings are held. Verified and otherwise eligible earnings may become available. Disputed or suspicious earnings may be frozen. Once payout requirements are met, available earnings can be processed through a supported payout method.
