Clickade Tokens Manual
Clickade Tokens are the virtual currency used for paid game access, one-time game purchases, and other eligible Clickade features.
The system is intentionally simple:
1 Clickade Token = $0.10 USD
For example:
| Tokens | Value |
|---|---|
| 1 | $0.10 |
| 5 | $0.50 |
| 10 | $1.00 |
| 20 | $2.00 |
| 30 | $3.00 |
| 50 | $5.00 |
| 100 | $10.00 |
1. What Tokens Are Used For
The primary uses of Clickade Tokens are:
- paying for 60-minute game sessions;
- making one-time game purchases that create permanent account-level ownership.
A creator may choose to make a game:
- Free, costing 0 Tokens;
- Session-based, costing a creator-selected number of Tokens per 60-minute session; or
- One-time purchase, costing a creator-selected number of Tokens once for permanent ownership.
The current cost and access model must be shown before you confirm a paid transaction.
Clickade may later use Tokens for additional platform features, but any Token charge should be clearly disclosed before it occurs.
2. Paying for Games
Clickade supports two paid game-access models: temporary sessions and one-time purchases.
60-Minute Sessions
When you start a paid session, Clickade shows the Token price before charging you.
After you confirm the purchase:
- the required Tokens are deducted from your balance;
- a 60-minute paid session is created;
- you receive access to that game for the active session.
You should not be charged again simply because you die, restart a level, or press Retry within the same active session.
A new charge may be required when the previous paid session has ended.
One-Time Purchases
When a game uses one-time pricing, Clickade shows that the purchase creates permanent account-level ownership before charging you.
After you confirm the purchase:
- the required Tokens are deducted from your balance exactly once;
- an immutable Token transaction is recorded;
- permanent ownership of that game is attached to your account;
- future launches do not require another purchase.
One-time ownership does not expire.
If the creator later raises or lowers the price, switches to session pricing, or makes the game free, existing owners keep their ownership.
Permanent ownership is recorded separately from temporary access sessions.
A game may still become unavailable because of removal, suspension, legal requirements, or security action. That does not silently erase the historical purchase record.
3. Token Balances
Your Token balance represents the Tokens currently available to your account.
Clickade's servers are authoritative for Token balances and transaction history.
A balance cannot go below zero. If you do not have enough Tokens for a paid session, the game should not begin as a paid session until you obtain enough Tokens.
4. Getting Tokens
Tokens may be obtained through methods supported by Clickade, such as:
- purchasing Token packs;
- promotional grants;
- Premium benefits, if offered;
- special events or platform rewards.
Available methods may change over time.
Any real-money purchase should show the Token amount and price before payment is completed.
5. Token Transactions
Clickade records Token activity so purchases and charges can be audited.
A transaction may include:
- Tokens purchased or granted;
- Tokens spent on a 60-minute game session;
- Tokens spent on a one-time game purchase;
- refunds or reversals;
- administrative corrections;
- promotional grants.
Completed transactions should not be silently rewritten. If a correction is necessary, Clickade may create a separate adjustment or reversal so the history remains understandable.
6. Failed Game Launches
If a paid session cannot be created or a confirmed charge is duplicated because of a Clickade platform error, Clickade may reverse or refund the affected Token transaction.
Not every interrupted play session automatically qualifies for a refund. Issues are reviewed according to the circumstances and applicable Clickade policies.
7. Tokens and Creator Earnings
When you spend Tokens on an eligible monetized game, whether for a 60-minute session or a one-time purchase, part of the Token value may become creator income.
Under Clickade's standard creator split:
- 80% goes to the eligible creator;
- 20% is kept by Clickade to support the platform.
Because each Token is worth $0.10, one Token spent on an eligible verified game produces:
- $0.08 creator income
- $0.02 Clickade platform share
Creator earnings are subject to the rules in the Creator Monetization Manual and Game Verification Manual.
8. Tokens Are Not Cash Accounts
Clickade Tokens are intended for use within Clickade.
A player's Token balance is not a bank account, investment account, or general-purpose cash balance.
Unless Clickade explicitly provides otherwise, ordinary player Tokens cannot be redeemed directly for cash.
Creator earnings are handled separately through Clickade's creator revenue and payout systems.
9. Price and Access Visibility
Clickade should always make Token charges understandable.
Before a paid transaction begins, players should be able to see:
- the game's Token price;
- whether the charge is for a 60-minute session or a one-time purchase;
- for one-time purchases, that the purchase creates permanent account-level ownership;
- their current Token balance;
- whether they have enough Tokens to continue.
A price label should make the access model obvious, for example:
- 20 Tokens / 60 minutes
- 50 Tokens / Own permanently
No paid game should rely on hidden Token charges or make a one-time purchase look like a temporary session.
10. Quick Summary
1 Token = $0.10 USD.
Players can spend Tokens on 60-minute paid sessions or one-time game purchases. One-time purchases create permanent account-level ownership and are charged exactly once.
Prices and access models are shown before purchase, balances cannot become negative, and transaction history is recorded so charges can be reviewed.
